Rex Carlson

Rex Carlson serves as the CFO of the REIT. A former tax partner with Eide Bailly, LLP and personal advisor to the shareholders of R.D. Offutt Company, he has spent much of his career advising high-wealth individuals and mid-sized businesses on all aspects of finance, tax, business development and operations.

A native North Dakotan, Mr. Carlson holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of North Dakota and a masters of business taxation degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. He is a certified public accountant and holds licenses in North Dakota and Minnesota (Inactive) and holds a Series 7 securities license.

Mr. Carlson is a past member of the board of trustees of Sterling Real Estate Investment Trust, a real estate investment trust based in Minot, North Dakota. He is a member and past president (2003-2004) of the Fargo Rotary. He has broad experience serving on various nonprofit boards and, among numerous others, currently serves as VP of administration for Northern Lights Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Rex has two daughters and lives in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
